Item Review: Reversable Headband

Hi Everyone:) Every Friday I will choose an item that I bought off Etsy and tell you about the item. How much I like it, quality, etc.

This weeks item review is the first item I bought off etsy. It is a reversable headband by christiecottage.etsy.com This headband is made out of flannel fabric and is very comfortable to wear. It has lavender with white stars on one side and stripes on the other. It has elastic sewn to it for a nice fit. This headband is machine washable. I love this headband because it is comfortable to wear, the flannel is soft, and it looks very pretty. You can view the item by clicking the link below:)

Hi Everyone:)

I hope everyone is keeping warm this winter. It has been below freezing temps here. We had an inch of snow yesturday. It feels more like Christmas. I have my decorating done, cookies made, Christmas cards sent out and all of my gifts are wrapped. I am ready for Christmas:) My moms dog is about to have puppies any day now. I hope she has them on Christmas. I would name them Holly, Jolly and Chris if she has 3 puppies:) She might have 4. I am trying my best to keep my Horses warm. They have heavy blankets on them and Destiny doesn't like the snow much. I brought her and her turn out buddy in early yesturday. My boys on the other hand were having a ball playing in the snow so I left them out until dinner time. I will be spending the holiday with family and I can't wait to see everyone. I will be seeing relatives I haven't seen in a while. This will be a nice Christmas:)

I have been neglecting my blog but I have been really busy working on new items and listing them in my Etsy shop. I Am Now Shipping Internationally

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am now shipping internationally. I have been getting alot of emails from people in other countries asking me if I will ship to their country. I was alittle hesitant at first because I never done it before and I didn't know what to charge and I was afraid of the packages getting lost in the mail. After talking to a few people on Etsy, they gave me some great advice. How To Make Your Own Catalog

Handmade sellers can boost sales by creating a catalog of the items they sell and their shop and website can be listed in the catalog. You can lay them out at craft shows, put them in promo bags and hand them out at craft fairs, send them with your customers orders, and hand them out to family and friends. Some people don't own a computer or know how to shop online. If you give out catalogs they can order your handmade items by mail. People who have a copy of your catalog can show it to their family and friends and so on. Catalogs will open up a new opportunity of making sales just like your online shop and craft shows.

I make my own catalog using my home computer. Just go to word perfect and select book format. To make an order form for your catalog just add coloms and rows in grid form. In the coloms put qty. , item , total, etc. Then add a section for your shipping charges, customer name and address, your name and address, and forms of payment you accept. Add pictures of your items and a description about the item and the price. Making it yourself is the cheapest way to go. The only expenses are paper and ink for the printer/copier. You can also take a copy of your catalog to a print shop and have them make copies for you.

Treat Your Cat To One Of My Cat Toys

I am introducting my line of Cat Toys. Right now I have Catnip Pillows, Catnip mice, and Catnip Goldfish. They are plush cat toys that are safe and filled with polly fill and organic catnip. They are Cat tested and Cat and Owner Approved. My cats love their cat toys and people who have bought my cat toys for their cats love them and so do their cats.

I will be adding more cat toys to my line soon. Hi my name is Jennifer the owner of Destinys Treasures. Thank you for reading my blog. I have opened a new shop were I will sell all sorts of handmade products like: Cat toys, Hair scrunchies, candles, bath & body, Home decor and more. I will also be selling pattern books and some craft supplies. I have always loved arts and crafts. I like all sorts of crafts like plastic canvas, painting, sewing, candle making just to name a few. In addition to arts and crafts I also like horseback riding, swimming, taking care of my animals, reading, and spending time with my family and friends. I love animals. I own 2 horses, 3 cats, a dog, a rabbit, and a hermit crab.

The name of my new shop is Destiny's Treasures. I named my shop after my horse Destiny. She is a rescued PMU mare who I rescued from being sent to a slaughter house. She had a bad start in life.
